There are many other research opportunities across the country. If you would like to be involved in similar mental health studies, please visit NIHR – Be Part of Research to find out more or see below studies that are actively recruiting research participants.
My-SERVE Study (University of Cambridge)
The My-SERVE Study is looking to interview caregivers/parents of young people ages 11-24 who have been seen by community mental health services. They are also looking for ethnic minority postgraduate students and staff from the University of Cambridge under age 25 with experiences of mental health services. More information available on their website.Â
ATTEND Well (University of Cambridge)
School should be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and like they belong. This study is working with young people to create a program that helps schools understand why it can be hard for young people to be in school—and what could help to make it better. This study is open to young people and parents across the UK and is conducted online. You can find more information here on their website.Â
Bridging the Gap (University of Cambridge)
Many young people in England wait a long time to be seen by Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Waiting can be difficult. We need young people’s own views about what would help while you are waiting. This study is recruiting young people aged 13–17 who have been on a CAMHS waiting list within the past 12 months to take part in a focus group. Click this link to sign up on their webform.
